Croatia’s Best Wellness Centers and Spas

Croatia is becoming a real European pearl for travelers from all around the world. It is the most famous for it’s beautiful coast, thousands of islands, rich history and brimming night life. But it has so much more to offer!

Today, people are becoming tired of fast way of life and often our bodies can’t cope with it. So when going on vacation people look for some kind of rest and relaxation. Healthy treatments and massages are one of the most effective ways to reduce stress and get your body and spirit into great shape. And I have a good news! Croatia can offer you a lot of wellness destinations. Here is a list of just a few of them that will get you back on a winning track in no time.

Hotel Ambassador's Five Elements Wellness & Spa Center

Hotel Ambassador’s Five Elements Wellness & Spa Center — The Hotel is located in Opatija. It has a surface of 1300 square meters and it is divided into two floors. Various water-related facilities are stationed on the first floor. A large indoor pool with heated seawater and a whirlpool, a spa zone which includes sauna center, the jaspis spa (a private spa zone with a crystal bath, massage showers and a relaxation zone), a solarium and a COCOON – the room containing water beds. Luxurious rooms for various massages and treatments are located on the upper floor.

The Novi Spa Hotels & Resort — This luxurious facility is located on a beach in Novi Vinodolski. It combines a rich offer, personalized service with the natural beauties of the Adriatic Sea. The resort, spreading on more than ten thousand square meters is truly a unique place to spend a wellness holiday.

As for the transportation, it’s the same case as with Opatija – reach the Resort by flying to Krk or Zagreb, and then use one of the many bus lines or car rental services.

The Novi Spa Hotels & Resort

Hotel Aurora’s Spa and Wellness Center — Located in the town of Mali Losinj, just fifty meters away from the sea and decorated in a Mediterranean style. Its highly educated staff can offer you various treatments, related to face and body care. The Center’s specialties are the special treatments which include usage of autochthonous plants, sea salt and essential oils. There are several saunas and four large swimming pools, all filled with seawater.

The easiest way to reach it from abroad is taking a flight to Zadar and booking a ferry ride, which are pretty often in the summer.

Spa & Golf Resort St. MartinSpa & Golf Resort St. Martin — It is an ideal destination for all those who want relaxation, wellness, romance and the pleasant countryside silence. The resort is located in upper Medimurje, in an area of many exquisite natural beauties. The luxurious wellness center provides various holistic programs, an individual approach to each guest and state-of-the-art equipment. The facility also features pools with healing water and numerous sports playgrounds.

Since the region of Medimurje is north of Zagreb, I recommend flying to Zagreb and from there using bus or train lines to reach the Resort.

Hotel Radisson Blu Resort & SpaHotel Radisson Blu Resort & Spa — Located in Orasac, 11 kilometers north of Dubrovnik. The resort is known for its full health service and many bath facilities, such as the three outdoor pools and two spa baths. The Hotel also has a minisauna and an indoor pool, with additional facilities such as the outdoor pool, a children’s pool and a children’s club.

Reach it by taking a plane directly to Dubrovnik. You can also fly to Split, which is well connected with all bigger European cities. From there, you can take local bus or even book an airport transport service, which will take you Orasac.

Wellness & Fitness Medical Cosmetic Center MuradWellness & Fitness Medical Cosmetic Center Murad — Located in the Zagreb as a part of the Sheraton Hotel, it’s one of the most popular wellness centers in the country. Center is offering a variety of services, such as the so-called Wellness oasis (consisting of a Finnish sauna and a vapor bath), cold water showers, ice fountains, and aqua aerobic. It provides a complete face and body care such as depilation, manicure, pedicure, spa feet treatment, solarium, a beauty parlour, make-up, gym, aerobic, yoga and many fitness programs. It is also known for its Ayurveda massage, one of the best stress-relieving massages, which will help all those suffering from headaches, cramps and insomnia.

Since Zagreb is the nation’s capital, you should have no problems finding a suitable flight from wherever you are located.

We hope you’ll enjoy your wellness holiday as you discover the perks and advantages of these beautiful facilities, as they truly are the best in the business.
